The Elder Scrolls Online is exploring new territory for High Isle. This chapter will launch in June.
The Elder Scrolls Online’s new year-long story Legacy of the Bretons is centered around High Isle. It explores the history and culture of the Bretons. While recent expansions brought players back to familiar locations like Western Skyrim or cities from The Elder Scrolls 4 : Oblivion’s, this year’s adventure introduces a new world and tells a different story.
The High Isle was inspired by the Mediterranean’s windswept shores. Rich Lambert, GamesRadar’s creative director, recently said that Rich Lambert believes the city is where the “rich and noble” go on vacation. The trailer showcases ornate towers and elaborate tournament grounds as well as lush, natural coastal environments. The knights are dressed in traditional feudal medieval armor, fitting the wealthy Breton society.
The Ascending Tide DLC will be the first of four major DLCs to this year’s adventure. But the main attraction is High Isle which will take players to the city. The new Tales of Tribute resource building in-game card game will be added to the adventure, adding a new PvP element. You and your opponent will shuffle your decks together at the beginning of a match. The decks will be shared with each other, so you can both play from the same pool.
High Isle will also include Spanish text translations and two new companions. There are many quality-of-life enhancements that will be revealed in the near future. The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle will launch on June 6th for PC, and on June 21st for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
